The Black Death

The Black Death originally came from Asia. It was brought by traders that landed in the Mediterranean ports. It was passed by fleas; a flea would bite an infected rat and then bite a healthy person, giving them the disease. Black Death was made up of a couple different diseases. One was the bubonic plague. The bubonic plague could be identified by large swellings on the persons body. Another form was one that traveled through the air and could kill a person in a day. The Black death killed so many people that people abandoned villages and many were buried with out ceremonies. The Black death killed millions of people in Europe and the Feudal system fell apart completely.
